Tom first picked up the guitar in 1979. Less than a year later, he experienced
the thrill of playing in front of a captive audience (literally...it was at a minimum-security prison). He played in
many bands and studios in California before his main job relocated him to Colorado Springs, where he continues to play and
record music of most styles. Over the years Tom has been involved in many projects playing guitar, drums, bass, or keyboards.
His main jamming roots are in heavy rock, but he says his greatest reward is playing the music he grew up listening to:
funk and soul.
