One of the “workingest” freelance musicians in the country, Chris stays constantly on the go playing trumpet and singing -- from cruise ships in Hawaii and the Caribbean to soloing with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra -- to gettin’ down and dirty in a jazz club.

He is first call on numerous show lists in Colorado and has performed with such names as Bob Hope, Tony Bennet, Doc Severinson, Arturo Sanduval, Mel Torme, John Denver, Sarah Vaughn, Wayne Newton, Linda Ronstadt, Manhattan Transfer, The Temptations, The 4 Tops, The 4 Freshmen, Yes, War, The Colorado (Denver) Symphony and many more.

“Jazzers” he has worked with include Bobby Shew, Bill Watrous, Carl Fontana, Clark Terry, Slide Hampton, Chuck Findlay, Frank Mantooth, Glen Miller Orchestra, Woody Herman Orchestra, both Dorsey Bands and many, many more.

A highlight of Chris’s career was soloing twice with Arturo Sanduval. He has considerable recording experience and is featured on a recently released CD called “Start Of Something Big” with Bobby Marchetti.

Regularly included in his schedule are performances with churches and community groups. He also performs and does some contracting for pit orchestras and other shows in Colorado.

Chris is especially well known for his high-note or “lead” chops but he is as comfortable performing for a religious service as he is screamin’ with a jazz big band.
